Training, fostering theory and organization, and methods of KVPT provincial drills in 2024

On August 2, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to train and foster theory and organization, and methods of the 2024 Provincial Military Zone Exercise. Major General Nguyen Dang Khai - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Military Region 2, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Military Zone Exercise Steering Committee attended and gave a speech.

At the conference, delegates were informed and discussed about some key contents such as: Theoretical principles in the construction and combat operations of the KVPT; activities of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, socio -political organizations and armed forces of the province and district when the locality is put into a state of national defense emergency and wartime; instructions on building documents for KVPT drills of departments, branches, branches and unions of the province and district.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Dang Khai - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Military Region 2, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Military Region's KVPT Exercise Steering Committee emphasized that training, fostering and organizing the method of the 2024 provincial KVPT exercise is a very important task, which is the basis for agencies and units to unify the content and method of the exercise and develop documents as a basis for departments, branches, sectors, organizations, units and localities to prepare a system of documents in the provincial KVPT exercise and the plans of their agencies and units.

Therefore, for the exercise to be successful, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province needs to issue a complete system of documents, thoroughly grasp the tasks of the KVPT exercise in 2024; establish and perfect the exercise frameworks for all 3 levels; develop training and practice plans for the participants in the exercise; review, adjust and supplement the system of defense operations documents and plans to ensure defense operations.

The Major General also suggested that the Provincial People's Committee must fully and carefully prepare all aspects to ensure the exercise such as: Checking the preparation work on the system of exercise documents; equipment in the exercise area, such as the communication system, the area (location) of the command post, the working position of the exercise frames, the facilities to ensure the exercise; organizing a trial exercise to gain experience; at the same time, agreeing with the Provincial KVPT Exercise Organizing Committee on the content of the exercise, drills and the exercise conferences on the mechanism operation so that the Provincial People's Committee can proactively do a good job of preparing the exercise documents, drills; focusing on allocating time for the practice of departments and branches...

Receiving the instructions, at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested that after this conference, comrades in the provincial and Phu Ninh district exercise framework should do a good job in preparing the system of documents; the content of the discussions in the conferences on the mechanism operation and practice of handling situations of departments and branches must ensure quality; at the same time, agree on the main timelines for preparing for the 2024 provincial KVPT exercise.

According to the plan, the official exercise is expected to take place over 2.5 days and nights starting from October 16-17, 2024 (directed and decided by the Military Region 2 Exercise Steering Committee).
