Ms. Pham Thi Chuong (born in 1956) has a particularly difficult family situation, her husband died early, she is sick, old, unemployed, and lives alone in a seriously degraded house.
In May 2023, VietnamFinance Foundation under VietnamFinance Investment Magazine launched a campaign to build a new house for Ms. Pham Thi Chuong. The cost of building the charity house for Ms. Chuong was raised by donations from staff and reporters of VietnamFinance Investment Magazine and the support of agencies, organizations and businesses accompanying VietnamFinance Foundation.
Delegates performed the house handover ceremony for Ms. Pham Thi Chuong.
Up to now, after nearly 1 month of construction, the house has been completed and handed over on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023).
Speaking at the inauguration and handover ceremony, Mr. Hoang Anh Minh, Editor-in-Chief of VietnamFinance Investment Magazine, said that building charity houses for poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances is an annual activity of the VietnamFinance Foundation's social and volunteer movement program.
In the coming time, through the VietnamFinance Foundation Program, VietnamFinance Investment Magazine will continue to implement social, charitable and spiritual activities nationwide; practical projects and works will be selected to connect and mobilize funding for implementation...
