Ms. Tran Thi Nga (in Dong Mon commune, Ha Tinh city) has just handed over to Vu Quang National Park two wild animals, including a rare golden monkey and an owl, for further monitoring and care before releasing them back into the natural environment.
Ms. Tran Thi Nga said: "While on a business trip to Ky Anh district (Ha Tinh), I happened to see a local selling an injured monkey. Seeing that, I bought the monkey to raise, care for, and treat it."

After investigating, Ms. Nga realized that this was a golden monkey weighing about 1kg, with the scientific name Macacca mulatta, belonging to group IIB, the list of endangered, precious, and rare wild animals. Therefore, Ms. Nga contacted Vu Quang National Park to hand it over to the authorities for release into the natural environment.

Previously, Vu Quang National Park also received an individual owl (scientific name is Strigidae, weighing 2.8 kg, belonging to the common animal group) from the household of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu (residing in Bac Ha ward, Ha Tinh city).

These animals will continue to be monitored, cared for, and ensured their safety by Vu Quang National Park staff before being released back into the natural environment for conservation purposes.
