(CT) - On August 11, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Party Civil Service Bloc (CDCĐ) of Can Tho City held a conference to review 1 year of implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/ĐUK on strengthening leadership in admitting party members in grassroots party organizations of the Public Service Unit Bloc, period 2022-2025.
Grassroots party organizations with outstanding achievements in admitting party members according to Resolution No. 05-NQ/ĐUK received Certificates of Merit from the Party Committee of the City's Civil Servants' Association.
Implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/ĐUK, Party committees at all levels pay attention to concretizing resolutions, directives, regulations, and instructions of the Central Committee and higher-level Party committees related to the work of admitting Party members into programs and plans and strictly directing their implementation at Party cells and Party committees; the standards, conditions, processes, and procedures for requesting consideration of Party admission are implemented by Party committees at the grassroots level according to regulations and instructions. Party committees at all levels develop plans to create sources for Party admission; direct mass organizations to organize many patriotic emulation movements; educate, train, foster, create sources and introduce outstanding factors for the Party to consider admission, contributing to rejuvenating and improving the quality of Party members. After 1 year of implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/ĐUK, the grassroots party committees sent 506 outstanding people to participate in Party awareness training and proposed that the Party Committee of the Public Service Bloc decide to admit 337 party members. Of which, the rate of admitting party members of grassroots party organizations of the Public Service Unit Bloc accounted for 69.14%, exceeding 4.14% compared to the target set out in Resolution No. 05-NQ/ĐUK.
At the conference, the Party Committee of the CDCĐ Bloc awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 collectives with outstanding achievements in admitting Party members according to Resolution No. 05-NQ/ĐUK.
The Party Committee of the City's Civil Servants' Bloc deployed Plan No. 115-KH/ĐUK of the Party Committee of the Bloc on admitting party members on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Can Tho City under the Central Government.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the City's Civil Service Bloc requires Party cells and grassroots Party committees to step up the work of creating sources for Party development, proactively discovering, nurturing, and introducing outstanding people to the Party through practical work, labor, and study at agencies and units. The selection of Party members must focus on quality, not quantity or achievements; ensure requirements, conditions, standards, and strictly implement regulations on principles, processes, procedures, and Party admission records. In 2023, the Party Committee of the City's Civil Service Bloc strives to admit 220 Party members (the resolution target for 2023 is to admit 200 Party members).
