(LĐ online) - On the occasion of the 2022-2023 school year summary and International Children's Day June 1, on the morning of May 25, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education coordinated with the Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province to organize gift giving to students of Lam Dong Provincial School for the Deaf and Luc Hoa Orphanage, Duc Trong district.

At the program, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education and the Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province presented 170 gifts to the students. At the same time, 10 million VND in cash was presented to the Lam Dong School for the Deaf and Luc Hoa Orphanage.
On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education also coordinated with volunteers from Korea to award 5 scholarships, each worth 3 million VND, to 5 students of the School for the Deaf with difficult circumstances.
According to Mr. Do Hoang Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, this is a meaningful activity at the end of the school year to encourage and motivate disadvantaged students, helping them have more motivation to excel in their studies and life. At the same time, it shows the concern and care of the whole society for children in special circumstances.
