Recently, e-commerce activities through social networking platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, ... in Nam Dinh province have tended to develop, attracting a large number of customers to participate in purchasing consumer products online.
After grasping the situation, on May 30, Market Management Team No. 1 - Market Management Department of Nam Dinh province coordinated with the Department of Cyber Security and High-tech Crime Prevention of Nam Dinh Provincial Police to conduct an inspection of a business household in My Loc district, Nam Dinh province.
At the time of the inspection, the Son Nhung garment factory was selling children's clothing and adult shorts. This household actually did business at the facility, and at the same time used the social networking site Facebook under the account "Son Nhung garment factory" to introduce the products for sale as adult shorts counterfeiting the Adidas and Chanel brands.
Checking the goods being traded at the facility, the authorities discovered nearly 600 adult shorts bearing the Chanel and Adidas brands showing signs of counterfeiting these two brands which are protected in Vietnam, and nearly 800 children's clothing products with labels that did not show information about the origin of the goods.
It is worth mentioning that the owner of the facility has not yet provided invoices or legal documents proving the origin of the above goods.
The inspection team has temporarily detained and sealed all the above goods and continued to verify, clarify the violations and handle them according to the provisions of law.
