At the online conference to summarize the work of 2024 and deploy key tasks of the culture, sports and tourism sector in 2025 held on December 18, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong - Director of the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts - revealed the revenue of the show Anh trai vu ngan cong gai.
“I sat in the performance with more than 50,000 spectators. The whole audience sang cheo and vong co melodies... to professionally arranged music, harmoniously blending contemporary and traditional. Costumes and stage were also invested in synchronously. Producers said the program could earn 340 billion VND,” Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong said.

Sharing more about this figure, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong said that the figure of 340 billion VND is not the revenue from the concert in Hung Yen. In fact, this figure is the revenue that the producer expected to gain during the production and broadcasting of the game show Anh trai vu ngan cong gai.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong said that revenue of 340 billion VND comes from advertising and media consulting activities.
“This is revenue from advertising and media consulting. The total of these two categories is expected to be 340 billion VND. Ticket sales revenue has not been counted yet. However, with just one show, we can see the success of coordinating cultural sectors together. A music performance but integrating the fields of advertising, fashion, tourism, cuisine…”, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong said.
This expert affirmed that the success of the two brother shows shows the endless creativity of Vietnamese people. With these successes, Vietnam will have many experiences, models, and good ways to continue developing cultural industries in the future.
“It is always necessary to determine that the development of cultural industries, including the performing arts, must never be separated from traditional materials and the awareness of creating new, unique products. This combination must always be done to maintain the flow of the country's culture,” Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong emphasized.
The success of the two shows "Anh trai" shows the endless creativity of Vietnamese people.
Ms. Phuong affirmed that the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts will always be a bridge, accompaniment, connecting artists, international organizations, researchers, cultural practitioners, local authorities, managers... together for mutual development.
Previously, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong emphasized that the concert after the show Anh Trai was no less attractive than BlackPink. With this potential, the performing arts industry expects to earn 770 billion VND by 2030.
