In V-League 2023, Ho Chi Minh City FC has an inexperienced squad, but Mr. Thanh still brought them to a safe finish.

Mr. Vu Tien Thanh's strength is his ability to build tactics that are suitable for the players' level and have a long-term plan. Mr. Thanh's experience and cunning in V-League also adds strength to the HAGL coaching staff.

Coach Kiatisak is very good, but he needs another compatible partner to have more options to revive a team that is losing direction in both playing style and morale. Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh is the right choice.
