At 10:00 p.m. on September 7, the forward command center directing the work of preventing and combating storm No. 3 located in Hai Phong, directly directed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, continued the 4th meeting of the day to deploy storm prevention and combat work.

At the meeting, ministries and localities continued to report on the progress of storm prevention and the damage in the area. With the assessment that the storm would weaken into a low pressure, the Forward Command Center assessed that it had completed its mission and officially suspended operations.

The Prime Minister decided to establish the forward command post to direct the work of preventing storm No. 3 from September 7 to deploy storm prevention work.

Also at this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha highly appreciated the storm prevention and control work of localities. However, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha also emphasized the interruption of communication. This is very regrettable and will be very dangerous if there is major damage, at the disaster level, when the interruption of communication will make the response slow and difficult.

This is also a lesson that localities need to seriously learn from and overcome to better prepare for future responses.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, the forward command center has stopped operating but localities still need to concentrate on implementing solutions to assess the damage caused by storm No. 3, from which urgent measures to rebuild and overcome the damage of the storm will be taken. In particular, forces must be focused on urgently searching for and rescuing missing victims.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha also emphasized that Bac Ninh, Bac Giang provinces and the Northwest region are not in the eye of the storm, but they need to seriously maintain leadership and implement solutions to ensure people's safety, especially pay attention to rain circulation, and avoid landslides that could endanger people.

On September 8, Hai Phong and other localities will continue to urgently deploy measures to overcome the damage caused by storm No.
