Before landing his "true love" career at Emirates Airlines, Quang Huy had carefully prepared and gradually built up his "baggage" with a solid system of knowledge and "hard" and "soft" skills.

From the beginning, Quang Huy has always been determined in his academic path. After graduating from high school, Huy chose Duy Tan University for his dream of university. " When it comes to tourism training in Da Nang or more broadly in the Central Highlands region, everyone immediately thinks of Duy Tan University. Graduates who have gone to work all advise to come to Duy Tan if they choose to study tourism. After carefully researching the school, I registered to study Tourism and Hotel Management, School of Tourism (HTi), Duy Tan University and received absolute support from my family. From here, my journey of studying and building a career has become extremely favorable, like a dream that every young person has ever dreamed of", Quang Huy said.
During his studies, Quang Huy acquired a lot of knowledge, gained experience and developed skills through many practical jobs such as kitchen, housekeeping, security, etc. In particular, Quang Huy actively participated in knowledge sharing workshops, conferences and seminars related to his major. A very meaningful program at the school is "Journey to ASEAN" (P2A) which has provided opportunities for students from many ASEAN countries to exchange and learn about the culture and life of the people. This program has also helped Quang Huy cultivate many necessary skills, improve his English proficiency, understand multiculturalism and become much more progressive.
Quang Huy is confident that he will "reach the sky" at the world's leading airline.
Quang Huy also always asks himself questions and gives answers before participating in job interviews: " Between two students who study and graduate together, what makes the difference in the eyes of employers? That is when a person possesses additional skills such as: communication, singing, dancing, sports, or the ability to host programs,... These strengths will become outstanding factors, helping them create a stronger impression in the eyes of employers".
Thinking like that, Quang Huy decided to take an MC course and then had the opportunity to be trusted by teachers at school to host many school events such as Career Journey Talkshows, Tourism and Hotel Seminars, etc. Thanks to his experience "holding the mic" at school, at the end of his third year of university, Quang Huy excelled in becoming a Program Host Collaborator at Vietnam Television Station - VTV8.
" Whenever there is an opportunity to grasp a dream, we must grasp it immediately, taking it as practical experience for ourselves. It can be likened to a business problem: the capital invested is passion, perseverance along with all the factors we prepare and the revenue and profit are not just money but also spiritual joy, resilient strength and new, invaluable experiences that we will gain ," Huy believes.
Studying, participating in extracurricular activities and working part-time all give Quang Huy valuable experiences, which are solid "steps" on the flight path, so that when he "takes off", Huy can fly high, far, reaching vast horizons.

After completing his Graduation Thesis and graduating with a Bachelor's Degree with Distinction, Quang Huy successfully applied to Bamboo Airways and became an official flight attendant for the airline. After 2 years of working and achieving certain results, Quang Huy continued to try his hand at VietJet Air. And most recently, Quang Huy moved to live and work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to officially join the crew of Emirates Airlines with international flights to Australia, the United Kingdom and many other countries around the world.
Quang Huy returns to Duy Tan University to share a lot of knowledge and experience with students majoring in Tourism Management and Aviation Services.
Talking about the "key" to success in becoming a flight attendant of a world-class airline like Emirates Airlines, Quang Huy said that he always prepares everything carefully from knowledge to skills, always perseveres and is persistent so that when the opportunity comes, he can confidently seize it. Even in the recruitment interviews, Huy always shows a high level of readiness to work, determination to contribute, "score points" with his existing advantages and special personal mark. Besides the academic level, the attitude of the candidate also plays a very important part in conquering international employers.
As the only member from Vietnam who has successfully passed the training and successfully joined the Emirates Airlines crew during the recruitment round, Quang Huy has proven his excellence and outstanding efforts. For Huy, becoming a flight attendant is not the end of the journey, but when starting a new working and dedication process, then the journey truly begins. " Regardless of any profession, there is competition and elimination, the aviation industry is also a high-pressure industry when members of the airlines are away from their families, often travel a lot, requiring good physical and mental health. Therefore, every day that passes, I have to continuously improve my knowledge and experience, always update new things, strive to learn, as well as take care of and develop myself ", Huy shared.
Talking about his future plans, Quang Huy shared: " The journey ahead is still long, I hope to continue to be attached to the profession of Flight Attendant, conquering many routes, visiting more countries. I do not pursue success, I pursue excellence and then, success will come to me ". Quang Huy has been writing the colorful pages of his own career and is also a story about the dream of conquering the sky that is extremely inspiring for those who love the aviation industry. Quang Huy's journey from Duy Tan University to joining the Emirates Airlines crew is a living proof that when the effort is great enough, the determination is strong enough, the sky will certainly no longer be the limit.
