SHS appoints new General Director

The Board of Directors of Saigon - Hanoi Securities Joint Stock Company (SHS) has signed and issued a Decision on approving the resignation of Mr. Vu Duc Tien from the position of General Director and Legal Representative according to Mr. Tien's personal wishes.

At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh - Deputy General Director of the Company - was appointed to the position of General Director and Legal Representative of the Company.

Finance - Banking - SHS appoints new General Director — Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh was appointed General Director of SHS.

The change of General Director and Legal Representative of the Company shall take effect from the date of approval by the State Securities Commission.

Mr. Vu Duc Tien, with nearly 30 years of experience in the financial sector, has accompanied the development of SHS since its inception and officially assumed the position of General Director since September 15, 2014.

After a long time working, Mr. Tien wishes to resign to seek medical treatment. Resigning from the position of General Director, Mr. Vu Duc Tien will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of SHS.

The person trusted and appointed by the SHS Board of Directors to the position of General Director is Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh - currently Deputy General Director of SHS. All administrative and operational work at SHS will be handed over to Mr. Thanh from February 5, 2024 until the State Securities Commission officially approves.

Mr. Thanh has a Master of Business Administration - Boston University (USA), a Bachelor of Foreign Economics - Hanoi Foreign Trade University. Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh has more than 15 years of experience in the fields of securities, finance, investment, and asset management.

He has held the position of Deputy General Director of SHS since May 5, 2014, and is currently the Head of SHS Representative Office in Hai Phong, having held the position of Director of Ho Chi Minh City Branch for many years.

With the above changes, up to now, the Board of Directors of SHS includes Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh - General Director, Mr. Tran Sy Tien - Deputy General Director - Chief Accountant and Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thanh - Deputy General Director .
