Mr. Pham Van Dung, former General Director of Ford Vietnam, and Mr. Nguyen Thien Minh, co-founder of Be Group, joined Tasco from November 1.
Mr. Pham Van Dung holds the position of Chairman of SVC Holdings Company Limited - a member company of Tasco, from November 1.
Mr. Dung has more than 20 years of experience working for global corporations such as GM-Daewoo, Ford, Inchcape, and has held senior executive positions in the automobile industry. From 2015 to 2022, he held the position of General Director of Ford Vietnam and was the first Vietnamese person to be appointed to this position. He also held the position of First Vice President of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) and is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Amcham).
At SVC Holdings, Mr. Dung participates in managing, developing strategic partnerships, researching, and proposing new projects with the goal of gradually mastering the industry's supply chain and expanding regional and global markets.

Mr. Minh has more than 20 years of experience in building technology platforms in businesses and startups in the US, Europe, and Singapore such as PayPal, Wells Fargo, BestBuy, OpenTV, DTT, and American Airlines. In Vietnam, he has participated in ILA and Geniebook, and is also one of the co-founders and CTO of startups such as Be - a Vietnamese ride-hailing app or Cake Digital Bank.
SVC Holdings has just become a 100% owned subsidiary of Tasco after a share swap deal. This company is a major automobile distributor in Vietnam with over 11.2% market share. It is also the largest distributor of Toyota, Ford and the distributor of luxury car brand Volvo in Vietnam.
SVC Holdings currently owns 54.1% of Saigon General Services Company (Savico) and indirectly owns large companies such as 100% of Savico Hanoi, 80% of Bac Au Automobile Joint Stock Company (Volvo Vietnam distributor in Saigon), 59.8% of DANA Joint Stock Company (Da Nang Ford).
This company is a piece in Tasco's ambition to build a vertically integrated business model, aiming to serve customers throughout the entire life cycle of using auto services, instead of providing a few individual services.
Tasco will not only sell new and used cars, spare parts and repair services in the future, but also aim at value-added services such as insurance, loans, exchange of old cars for new cars, vehicle upgrades, non-stop toll collection services, parking, fuel payment, and other fees. The company also said it wants to participate in a higher value chain of the auto industry, moving more upstream through cooperation with global partners.
