Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank - HoSE: SSB) has just announced the Board of Directors' Resolution approving the last registration date to exercise the right to attend the bank's extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders and collect shareholders' opinions in writing.
Accordingly, the last registration date to exercise the right to participate in the extraordinary congress is October 14, 2024.
In addition to registering to exercise the right to attend the extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, SeABank also collects shareholders' opinions in writing to approve the Charter, internal regulations on corporate governance, regulations on organization and operation of the Board of Directors and regulations on organization and operation of the Supervisory Board.

Previously, SeABank also sent a document to shareholders regarding the candidacy and nomination of personnel expected to be elected to supplement the bank's Board of Supervisors for the 2023-2028 term.
Accordingly, at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, the bank plans to seek shareholders' opinions on adding 2 more members to the Board of Supervisors for the 2023-2028 term. Shareholders/groups of shareholders according to the list finalized on September 16, 2024 owning 10% or more of the total number of common shares will have the right to nominate candidates.
Based on SeABank's semi-annual management report for 2024, the bank's Board of Supervisors currently has a total of 3 members, including Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc Quynh as Head of the Board, with a Master's degree in Business Administration - California Miramar University, USA.
In addition, the two full-time members are Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luan - Bachelor of Economics from National Economics University and Ms. Vu Thu Thuy - Master of Business Administration in Finance - University of Southern Colombia.
The time, location and specific contents expected to be discussed at the Congress have not yet been announced.
On the stock market, at the end of the session on September 24, SSB shares increased by 3.45% compared to the previous session to VND 16,500/share, with a trading volume of more than 1 million units.
Over the past year, SSB's stock price has decreased by 26.56%, from the reference price of VND22,647/share to VND16,500/share. The average trading volume is nearly 1.9 million units/day.
