Additional admission criteria
Accordingly, the 30 admission targets are determined by each school, region, subject, and gender, male/female.
Subjects and conditions for admission
- Candidates who meet the conditions and have participated in the 2024 recruitment exam for the People's Public Security Forces according to each subject (high school students, discharged conscripts, grade 11 students: Conscripts on active duty) but did not pass the university entrance exam, the People's Public Security College, did not pass the exam or have not enrolled in schools outside the Public Security sector.
- Candidates participating in the selection process must ensure that according to the combination, assessment test code, subject, male/female gender, and enrollment area, they are allowed to apply to the Police Academy and schools in 2024 (as stipulated in Instruction 05/1D-BCA-X02 of 2024 issued by the Ministry of Public Security on the 2024 Police enrollment guidelines). Ensure the input quality threshold according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
Application profile
- Certified copy of candidate's Identity Card or Citizen Identification Card.
- Certified copy of the candidate's 2024 High School Graduation Exam Results Certificate.
- Admission score notification form for the People's Public Security issued by X02 or the training institution.
- Application form for additional and replacement admission (Appendix 02)
Time and place for receiving documents
Application submission period is from October 18, 2024 to before 5:00 p.m. on October 23, 2024.
Location for receiving application documents: Candidates submit application documents for additional or replacement admission to the Police Department of the unit or locality that received the application documents for the first round. The Police Department of the unit or locality sends application documents and registration request data to the Police Academy and Universities. X02 synthesizes application documents from the Police Department of the units and localities, and the candidates' admission registration wishes.

Admission methods and additional and alternative admission procedures
- Implement the admission method and admission process according to the regulations in Instruction No. 05/HD-BCA-X02 of 2024 issued by the Ministry of Public Security on the 2024 Public Security recruitment guide.
Candidates can register for a maximum of 3 admission wishes, school code, and major code. The priority order for admission is respectively according to Wish 1, Wish 2, and Wish 3. Priority for admission for the major and school applying for the first time,
- In case there are no candidates who meet the admission requirements according to each method, the admission method will be used based on the assessment test scores from high to low until the end of the expenditure. The admission score is the admission assessment test score of the Ministry of Public Security on a 100-point scale plus regional priority points, priority points for subjects according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, and bonus points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
The calculation formula is as follows:
DC=BTBCA + DC*10/3 , in which:
+ DXT : admission score
+ BTBCA : assessment test score of the Ministry of Public Security
+ DC : regional priority points, subject priority points and bonus points. In case the number of candidates with the same admission score, if all candidates are taken, it will exceed the allocated quota, then the admission will be considered in the following order:
+ Firstly, consider candidates with scores on the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test from highest to lowest until the quota is met;
+ Second, consider candidates with multiple-choice test scores from the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test from high to low until they have enough spending.
In case the above criteria are considered but the target is still exceeded, when evaluating the scoring plan, X02 will coordinate with X01 to report to the Ministry's leaders for decision.
Admission fee: 20,000 VND/application.
