On April 2, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Le Van Tuyet - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Civil and Industrial Works in Da Nang - affirmed that the water music stage at 29-3 Square only serves artistic purposes.

Many people's awareness is still poor.

Mr. Tuyet said that the water music floor project at 29-3 Square only serves artistic purposes. However, recently, when the unit was running a trial run, every night many people brought their children here to play and freely let them bathe and play in this water music floor area.

"This is an art service, no one is allowed to bathe there. Every night we have assigned people to remind people. The loudspeakers at 29-3 Square also broadcast warnings, but people's awareness is still very low," said Mr. Tuyet.

According to Mr. Tuyet, the unit also put up temporary ropes but they were all trampled on. In the near future, this unit is planning to build a fence around the water music floor.

But if we arrange a fence, it will only be a mobile fence, because this is a square, often holding events on big holidays, so it cannot be a permanent fence.

That is also the reason why when designing, it is impossible to raise or lower this water music floor compared to the square level.

Mr. Tuyet also said that the children who come to play and bathe at the water music floor are mostly children of people living around the square area. He hopes that this is just the beginning, and that later when the propaganda is more widespread, people will change their awareness.

"We are coordinating with wards and residential groups to educate people about this issue. Along with that, we will ask for support from the militia forces of the wards to coordinate and remind people not to let children bathe on the water music floor," Mr. Tuyet informed.

Teaching children to behave properly in public

After Tuoi Tre Online posted information reflecting the fact that many children rushed to bathe at the water music stage at 29-3 Square in Da Nang, the controversy continued to spread rapidly.

Mr. H., a resident living near the square, said that we should not be too strict because this project has not been put into use yet, so children can play there.

"Children often cannot control their joy so they run to play with the water jets, rarely can parents stop them. Adults watching the scene also feel happy," Mr. H. expressed.

However, many people believe that ignoring the warning loudspeakers and allowing children to play in restricted areas is the parents' fault.

"Parents should teach their children to control their personal interests and behave properly in public, and not blame their children for liking things too much," said Mr. Tuan Phuong, a resident of Da Nang.
