This makes many people mistakenly think that the artistic fountain activity has stopped completely.

Continuously "missing water music"

Ms. Huynh Anh Ngoc (32 years old, from Quang Nam) said that after hearing about the impressive water music stage at 29-3 Square in Da Nang, her whole family drove dozens of kilometers to see it this weekend.

"Last Saturday night, the whole family was disappointed when they went home because they waited forever and still didn't see the water. Many people were disappointed like my family," said Ms. Ngoc.

Similarly, Mr. Ngo Tien Quang (56 years old) said that for two consecutive nights, he and his grandchildren traveled dozens of kilometers from Lien Chieu district to Hai Chau to see the artistic water music show but returned home disappointed.

"The loudspeakers warned parents not to let their children play in the water music floor, but many parents ignored the warning. Repeated announcements were ineffective, and the security forces could not control it, so the water spraying had to stop. My children are very sad and disappointed," said Mr. Quang.

It was noted that on the last weekend evenings, many people came to 29-3 Square to watch the water music show but waited for a long time and had to leave. The water fountain system only operated again when there were no children and people.

Go to people's house to remind

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on April 8, Mr. Le Van Tuyet - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Civil and Industrial Works in Da Nang - said that the project is currently in a trial run, and has not been completed yet, so the trial run has been temporarily suspended. Many nights, after just a trial run, children flocked in so much that they had to stop.

In recent days, the unit has had to temporarily stop testing the water spray many times because people still carelessly let their children bathe in the water spray area.

Unable to control the situation, the operations department had to temporarily stop spraying water.

Notably, according to Mr. Tuyet, this unit has increased its monitoring force and propaganda to the people, but the situation still recurs.

Mr. Tuyet said that it is impossible to use temporary fences or deploy forces to remind people forever. This is a public area and the water music floor serves artistic purposes, not for bathing.

"The children who come to bathe in the fountain area are all children of people living near 29-3 Square, not tourists or people from far away who come to bathe there.

Therefore, we can only continue to carry out propaganda to change people's awareness. We are coordinating with Hoa Cuong Bac ward, where this water music floor area is located, to deploy it to residential groups, even to households with small children to remind them," said Mr. Tuyet.
