In recent days, the water music stage project at 29-3 Square has attracted a large number of locals and tourists to visit every night, even though it has only been basically completed.

Many children excitedly rushed into the water music area to bathe and play in the water, creating a joyful atmosphere like a water festival.

However, this image makes many people feel uncomfortable.

Ms. Hoang Thuy (28 years old, Hai Chau district) and her boyfriend visited 29-3 square and said they were fed up with seeing children playing carefree in the water music floor.

"People come to the square to enjoy the sound and light in harmony with the rhythm of the water, not to watch children playing and bathing like that.

If this image catches the eyes of tourists, it will more or less affect the image of the tourist city," said Ms. Thuy.

Ms. Thuy also expressed concern that the sudden change in water pressure and the lighting system could be unsafe for children.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien (45 years old, living in Cam Le district) thinks that children playing and bathing creates a happy atmosphere like the water festivals that are held in many places. As long as no one dresses indecently in this area, it is fine.

Warning has been issued

Notably, the loudspeaker system in this square has been broadcasting warnings, but parents still calmly let their children rush in and play in the water music area.

The management unit also put up ropes around the area, but children still stepped on them to play in the water music floor.

The reporter contacted Mr. Nguyen Huu Hinh - Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works in Da Nang - many times to discuss this issue, but he did not answer the phone.

Previously, on the evening of March 25, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang inspected the renovation and expansion project of 29-3 Square.

Inspecting the water music performance area in the square, Mr. Quang reminded relevant agencies and units to ensure the exploitation and operation of this item.

The artistic water music stage item with a budget of about 10 billion VND, belongs to the project to upgrade and embellish the Da Nang City memorial and renovate and expand the 29-3 square with a total scale of nearly 213 billion VND.

The water music floor area is ^600m2 (50 x 12m).

The water music at 29-3 Square is 3-5 minutes long/song, programmed with 24 songs with diverse themes, suitable for holidays, New Year, and festivals. The melodies of the songs are also diverse, helping people and tourists relax on weekends.

The "heat" of 29-3 Square makes this place no different from a festival every night.
