Dong Giang job fair is expected to take place on June 29, 2023

(QNO) - Implementing the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021-2025 period; the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period and the local sustainable poverty reduction plan, the People's Committee of Dong Giang district has just issued a plan to organize the Dong Giang District Job Exchange in 2023.

The program aims to create a bridge between businesses, employers and workers in the district to meet and discuss job positions and recruitment needs of companies and businesses. Thereby, helping workers choose jobs that match their professional qualifications and abilities, contributing to job creation and sustainable poverty reduction in the district. Promoting the spirit of proactive integration and adaptation to the labor market of the people; gradually changing production practices, changing the labor structure from activities in the agricultural sector to activities in the industrial, service and construction sectors.

Mr. Dinh Ngoc Thanh - Head of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Giang district said that the People's Committee of the district requested the department to closely coordinate with the Quang Nam Provincial Employment Service Center and related units to widely connect companies and businesses that are in need of recruiting workers to participate in the job fair so that workers have more suitable job options. Promote information and propaganda work on the purpose and significance of organizing the job fair so that people can understand and participate. Strictly manage the working-age labor force by many information, propaganda and mobilization measures so that this group of people can participate and find suitable job opportunities for themselves.

The program will provide information and report data on the labor force in the district, recruitment needs of companies and enterprises; labor market information inside and outside the province for employers and employees to know. Organize for units, enterprises, and training facilities to directly interview workers at the job exchange floor. Organize vocational counseling, policies related to labor relations, employment for workers and employers. The job fair is scheduled to be held on June 29, 2023, at the Dong Giang District Culture, Sports and Tourism Center.

The program has about 330 participants, including young people of working age who do not have stable jobs; high school students who do not continue their studies at intermediate, college or university levels; young people who have completed their military service and police service; people reintegrating into the community who do not have stable jobs, and local people.
