After 4 days of competition in Group A, 22 amateur bands from districts in Ho Chi Minh City introduced to the audience their musical skills and beautiful voices through performances and programs with themes closely related to contemporary cultural life.

In Group B is the Amateur Music Festival with nearly 100 performances. The success of the Festival has marked the development of the Amateur Music movement in Ho Chi Minh City in recent years, especially after 10 years of Amateur Music being honored as a Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
There were 3 programs awarded gold medals: "River rendezvous" by District 8 Cultural - Sports Center; "HCMC is proud of the Southern land" by District 1 Cultural Center and "Forever remember the grace" by Tan Binh District Cultural - Sports Center.

After 10 years of being officially recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Ho Chi Minh City has made constant efforts to preserve and promote the value of this unique art form.
