Review and standardize tax registration information to ensure conditions for granting identification accounts to organizations.

Accordingly, the subjects that need to review to standardize tax registration information are organizations that have been granted a tax code under the direct management of the tax authority and are still in operation (except for enterprises and cooperatives that register for tax together with business registration under the one-stop mechanism).

The content of tax registration information that needs to be reviewed includes: 1. Name of taxpayer; 2. Head office address; 3. Number, date of issuance of establishment and operation license/establishment decision/other equivalent documents issued by competent authorities; 4. Full name, date of birth, ID card number of the head/legal representative of the taxpayer (if Vietnamese); 5. Other tax registration information of the taxpayer that is missing according to current regulations.

The review aims to ensure that the tax registration information of taxpayers who are organizations in the tax registration system is fully updated, accurate, and in accordance with current regulations, serving as a basis for tax authorities to authenticate information with the electronic identification and authentication management agency (of the Ministry of Public Security) when taxpayers carry out procedures to register for electronic identification accounts according to the provisions of Decree No. 69/2024/ND-CP.

In particular, information about the head/legal representative of the organization: must be fully updated with the fields of full name, date of birth, citizen identification number and must be standardized compared to the individual's information in the national population database.

Information on the taxpayer's name, head office address, number and date of issuance of the establishment and operation license/establishment decision/other equivalent documents issued by the competent authority: are fully and accurately updated according to the taxpayer's tax registration file. Other missing tax registration information of the taxpayer is fully and accurately updated according to current regulations.

Quang Nam Tax Department said that it has assigned the Tax Declaration and Accounting Department to compile a list of taxpayers within the scope of review, transfer it to the management departments to preside over urging taxpayers to review and adjust tax registration information; proceed to receive and process taxpayers' tax registration information change dossiers; ensure accurate, complete and timely updates to the application system...
