Using cinema to tell stories and portray historical figures is a very effective way to bring Vietnamese history to life in a more engaging and visual way, evoking the national pride that is always latent in every Vietnamese person.
With the desire to recreate history, portraying the portrait of King Le Thai Tong and the famous mandarin Nguyen Trai through cinema, director Luong Dinh Dung decided to release a film called Hero .

The film is set in 1464, recreating the entire journey of King Le Thanh Tong clearing Nguyen Trai's name in the famous historical wrongful case of Le Chi Vien. Through that, the portraits of King Le Thai Tong and the famous mandarin Nguyen Trai will appear in each segment.
As a story between complex psychology and action, Hero is expected to be a great film. Therefore, as soon as it was launched, the film received support from many audiences.

The film has a huge budget and a professional crew. Director Luong Dinh Dung said:
"In addition to this project, I want to work on Ly Thuong Kiet, Hai Ba Trung... Bringing history to film will help the younger generation have a correct view and deeply remember the history of the nation."
In parallel with domestic release, the producer plans to release the film to more than 30 countries to help international audiences see the heroic history of Vietnam, its wise kings, founding fathers, and famous generals and mandarins.
