The Tra Vinh Wax Coconut Museum displays a diverse and rich collection, including artifacts related to the life and activities of the people of Cau Ke district (Tra Vinh), thereby reflecting the extremely unique history and culture.
The collection features a wax statue of monk Thach So (the person who brought coconut trees from Cambodia to Cho Pagoda, Cau Ke District to plant; due to the climate and soil conditions here, the current native wax coconut variety was created), the first wax coconut tree root brought to Vietnam 100 years ago.
In addition, Tra Vinh Wax Coconut Museum also displays vivid paintings depicting the daily activities of monks and the Khmer ethnic community.

Here, there are spaces to display and recreate the life history of the Kinh - Khmer - Hoa ethnic groups in the province; display a collection of artifacts related to the wax coconut tree, life stories of residents under the coconut canopy.
This is a good way, an important step in preserving and promoting the cultural value of wax coconut, while creating a unique cultural space for the community. At the same time, it is also the result of propaganda and mobilization work to mobilize ethnic minorities in Tra Vinh province to participate in infrastructure investment, effectively using invested works to develop the economy and society of ethnic minority areas under the national target program 1719.
In addition, the establishment of the wax coconut museum contributes to enriching the cultural and tourism products of Cau Ke district in particular and Tra Vinh province in general, helping local people and visitors from near and far learn about the history of wax coconut trees and the culture of the ethnic communities of Tra Vinh province. This place is also a place for cultural exchange between researchers and collectors at home and abroad.
