"Relief" Fund receives 56.3 billion VND to support provinces damaged by storms

Responding to the "Call" of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hanoi City, today, September 13, many agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals continued to come to the VFF Committee of Hanoi City to support people affected by storms and floods.

Specifically, on September 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City received registration and support from 8 individuals, units and organizations with a total amount of more than 1.74 billion VND, such as: Hanoi Social Insurance donated 127.95 million VND; KIDS PLAZA Joint Stock Company 500 million VND; Phu Thai Group staff 500 million VND; Hanoi Bar Association 150 million VND...

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City received support for people affected by storms and floods from agencies, organizations and individuals on September 13.

Yesterday, September 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City also received support from 13 individuals, units and organizations with a total amount of more than 13 billion VND. Of which, the family of Mr. Pham Quang Nghi - former Politburo member, former Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee donated 100 million VND; the Hanoi Party Committee Office donated 40 million VND; officials and people of Hai Ba Trung district donated 800 million VND; Hanoi Department of Home Affairs donated 100 million VND; Hai Ha Investment and Transport Joint Stock Company donated 500 million VND; Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (HANDICO) donated 500 million VND... and many other individuals, units and organizations.

Receiving the support, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City respectfully thanked the support of agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals who actively responded to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City to contribute more resources with the Party and State to support people severely affected by storm No. 3. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City pledged to fully transfer the support of agencies, organizations and individuals to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to promptly support people affected by storms and floods.

As of 4:00 p.m. on September 13, the total amount of money that agencies, units, organizations and individuals have donated to support people affected by storms and floods transferred to the Hanoi City "Relief" Fund is 56 billion 372 million VND (in cash and transferred to Agribank accounts and State Treasury accounts).
