“The official opening of Dong Giang Heaven Gate eco-tourism area will be a motivating event, creating a premise to help tourism in the western mountainous region of Quang Nam create a new, good impression on visitors from near and far.

The project also has a pioneering meaning, contributing to attracting more new investment projects, thereby awakening the potential and enhancing the position and competitiveness of mountainous tourism, changing the appearance and landscape of the locality to realize the development goal of the entire Quang Nam province according to the spatial structure model of "two regions, two dynamic clusters, three development corridors" approved by the Prime Minister, in which the Western region is oriented to rise and transform strongly into a magnet to attract tourists to the mountainous region of Quang Nam", Mr. Buu shared.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FVG Group , the project investor, said: "With persistent efforts, after nearly 2 years of operating and welcoming guests in phase 1, the tourist area has welcomed more than 120,000 visitors and stays. In addition, many tourism product packages have been deployed and programs have been continuously implemented such as the Spring Festival, the Great Forest Dance program... to contribute to diversifying services, helping visitors have many experiences about nature and indigenous culture at the tourist area."

With the goal of building a core force to create jobs, contribute to poverty reduction, and develop the local economy, from construction to operation, the project has recruited nearly 1,000 workers who are local Co Tu people.

The project, in addition to creating a new destination, also creates jobs for more than 1,000 Co Tu people, contributing to poverty reduction and economic development in mountainous districts.

In the second phase of operation, FVG Group plans to continue recruiting and training 150-200 local workers in a variety of positions to improve customer service quality. At the same time, it will continue to exploit many programs associated with the local architectural and cultural elements of the local people to create unique tourism products, contributing to creating livelihoods and developing sustainable tourism.

This opening ceremony is the opening event before the April 30 and May 1 holidays with opening activities for the 2024 summer tourism stimulus program " Quang Nam - green heritage land ", when Dong Giang Heaven Gate is one of the destinations in the 3-day, 2-night tour taking place from May to August 2024.

The project becomes a connecting point of Central heritage sites to create unique tourism products, contributing to awakening the potential of eco-tourism in Quang Nam, helping tourists have many choices and experiences when visiting and traveling in Quang Nam.
