This is a specific activity of the Youth Union in implementing the National Target Program on cultural revival and development, building Vietnamese people and the Prime Minister's Project on supporting information and propaganda on ethnicity and religion.
The contest is for individuals and groups of individuals who are Vietnamese students from high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education, vocational education institutions, universities, colleges, academies, and colleges in and outside the country.
Individuals or groups of authors participate in the contest by making video clips, short reports or short films depicting and introducing the beauty of national culture and traditional Vietnamese identity through content such as the beauty of life, scenic spots, traditional cuisine, traditional costumes, music, traditional musical instruments, etc.
According to statistics from the Central Youth Union, after the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee of the contest received 11,734 entries, of which 4,873 entries that met the rules and were suitable for the theme were considered for the voting round. Quang Nam was in the top 3 units with the most entries.
At the end of the voting round, there were nearly 700,000 votes for the works on the program's website and more than 56 million views on digital platforms (Tiktok; Facebook; website: tinhhoavietnam.doanthanhnien.vn). The jury unanimously selected the 20 best works to enter the final round of the competition and vote on the program's website until May 19, 2024.
Quang Nam has 3 entries in the final round, including: Cau Mong Culinary Specialties - My Hometown Quang by the group of authors Huynh Tran Yen Yen and Tran Khanh Huyen (Hoang Dieu High School); Dien Ban Cuisine - Phu Chiem Noodles by author Duong Ha Khanh Linh (Nguyen Duy Hieu High School) and Hoi An Ancient Town by author Truong Hoang Bao Nguyen (Nguyen Khuyen High School).
The summary and award ceremony is expected to take place at the end of May 2024. The Organizing Committee will award 1 First prize worth 15 million VND; 1 Second prize worth 10 million VND; 1 Third prize worth 5 million VND; 2 Encouragement prizes, each worth 3 million VND.
