Quang Nam has 2 units assigned the task of preserving and supplying Ngoc Linh ginseng seedlings.

Both of these units were assigned to preserve an area of ​​131.22 hectares of Ngoc Linh ginseng (Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Plant Development Center preserved 50.25 hectares; Agricultural Technical Center preserved 80.97 hectares).

Up to now, the area of ​​Ngoc Linh ginseng planted for conservation is 15 hectares, the number of ginseng seedlings 2 years old or older is 281,129 plants.

In 2024, the Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herbs Development Center produced 123,205 plants/180,600 seeds for sowing (reaching a rate of 68.22%, an increase of 5.27% compared to 2023).

Nam Tra My District Agricultural Technical Center sowed 14,350 seeds, the rate of seedlings meeting nursery standards was 75%.

In 2024, these two units organized the collection and sowing of about 164,600 seeds to produce seedlings in 2025, serving the expansion and development of Ngoc Linh ginseng production in the area.
