Military Region 7 provides support to help Quang Ninh people overcome the consequences of storm No. 3

On the afternoon of September 18, the working delegation of Military Region 7 visited, encouraged and provided support to people in Quang Ninh province who suffered damage due to storm No. 3. Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7, led the delegation. On the side of Quang Ninh province, the delegation was welcomed by comrades: Nguyen Van Hoi, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On behalf of the leaders and soldiers of Military Region 7, Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7, sent his condolences and sympathies for the great losses that Quang Ninh had to endure due to storm No. 3. At the same time, he expressed his belief that with the tradition of "Discipline and Unity" of the Mining Region, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh will quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, continuing to move towards the socio-economic development goals set for 2024.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to mobilize support for people to overcome the damage, units of Military Region 7 and a number of businesses in the area immediately joined hands, mobilizing necessities, equipment, and supplies worth 2 billion VND, including: Rice, dry food, instant noodles, canned food, bottled water, and life jackets.

The working delegation of Military Region 7 presented support with necessities, equipment, and supplies to help people in Quang Ninh province overcome damage caused by storm No. 3.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh, comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, expressed his gratitude to the leaders, officers and soldiers of Military Region 7 and businesses in the area. At the same time, he affirmed that the entire political system of the province, together with the armed forces and people, is actively overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3, urgently stabilizing the lives of affected people, continuing production, business and normal activities of social life. The support of Military Region 7 as well as agencies, units and organizations across the country over the past few days has not only contributed important resources, but also had a great spiritual meaning.

The necessities, equipment and supplies donated by the delegation will be immediately distributed to localities and delivered directly to people, with priority given to poor and near-poor households, those in especially difficult circumstances and families severely affected by the storm.
