It is known that Mr. Ban's noodle brand has been around for nearly 10 years in Ho Chi Minh City. The restaurant was once famous for the story of stewing 1 ton of bones every day at dozens of branches to make bone broth for customers.

Michelin Guide ranks restaurants through an award system, in which Michelin Stars are the famous awards given to restaurants that offer the best culinary experiences. In addition to Michelin Star ratings, Michelin Guide also has an award category called Bib Gourmand for restaurants that offer delicious food at affordable prices.
Restaurants in the Michelin Guide are independently evaluated by renowned appraisers, through multiple rounds of inspection, based on five consistent criteria worldwide: product quality; culinary talent; flavor harmony; the chef's personality expressed through the dishes; and the consistency of the dishes over time and across the entire menu.
