The traffic jam occurred at around 7:30, the worst being on Highway 9 to the Pham Van Dong - To Ngoc Van intersection, from Linh Xuan overpass to Binh Loi bridge. Motorbikes and cars lined up for nearly 2 km on the road. Some motorbikes even drove onto the sidewalk but could not escape the crowd of vehicles.

According to people's feedback, they have been moving normally these past few days. "I don't understand why the traffic jam is so terrible today! It's been more than half an hour but I haven't even gone 1 km" - said Mr. D.L (living in Binh Duong province).
