On the afternoon of June 8, Lam Son Ward (Thanh Hoa City) held a conference to summarize the construction of a fire prevention and fighting model; evaluate the progress of transforming key and complicated areas in terms of security and order and solutions to strengthen; and deploy a plan to organize the National Day for National Security Protection.

Implementing Directive No. 01/CT-TTg, dated January 3, 2023 of the Prime Minister on strengthening fire prevention and fighting work in the new situation; plans of the City People's Committee, City Police, Lam Son Ward People's Committee issued Plan No. 19/KH-UBND, dated February 26, 2023 on implementing the construction of the model "Inter-family fire safety team" and "Public fire fighting point" in the ward.

After 3 months of implementation, Lam Son ward has built 64 "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Teams", reaching 320% of the target assigned by the city; built 23 "Public Fire Fighting Points", reaching 460% of the target assigned by Thanh Hoa city (leading 34 wards and communes). The model of "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Teams" and "Public Fire Fighting Points" was established to promote the combined strength in the movement of the whole population participating in fire prevention and fighting; enhance the spirit of proactive prevention as well as skills in using fire prevention and fighting equipment, escape skills, fire fighting organization, minimizing damage caused by fires and explosions.

To maintain security and order, on May 19, 2023, Lam Son Ward Party Committee issued Resolution No. 89-NQ/DU on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in transforming key and complicated areas of social order and safety in Lam Son Ward"; The Ward Security and Order Steering Committee issued Plan No. 56/KH-BCĐ dated May 22, 2023 on transforming key and complicated areas of social order and safety in the ward.

In the administrative management of social order, the Ward Police have increased patrols and handled violations of public order and traffic safety, patrolling, handling violations, and filing cases for 47 cases.
