Supervise the destruction of weapons, explosives, and support tools.

On this occasion, the council destroyed 25 homemade guns, 1 primitive weapon, 1 electric shock baton, 504 iron ball bullets that had just been recovered from the community by the functional departments of Phong Dien Town Police recently. The destruction process took place in accordance with procedures and processes under the strict supervision of the council, ensuring absolute safety after being inspected and classified according to each category.

The destruction of weapons, explosives and supporting tools aims to improve the effectiveness of State management of weapons, explosives and supporting tools, strictly implement the law on management and use of weapons, explosives and supporting tools; raise awareness and responsibility of agencies, organizations and people in complying with legal regulations on management of weapons, explosives and supporting tools, contributing to the effective implementation of the work of ensuring security and order in the area.

According to the leader of the Police Team for Administrative Management of Social Order of Phong Dien Town Police, the unit is continuing to direct professional teams and police of communes and wards to resolutely deploy measures to combat and strictly handle subjects who illegally buy, sell, store, and use weapons, explosives, and supporting tools. At the same time, actively propagate and mobilize people to voluntarily hand over weapons, explosives, and supporting tools, contributing to ensuring and maintaining security and order in the area.
