Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (HoSE: OCB) has just announced that it has received the resignation letter of Mr. Nguyen Van Huong - Deputy General Director in charge of Retail, according to his personal wishes.

Mr. Nguyen Van Huong was appointed as Deputy General Director in charge of Retail Division from December 28, 2022.
He holds a Master of Business Administration degree with over 21 years of experience in banking and finance.
Currently, after Mr. Nguyen Van Huong's resignation request is approved, OCB's Board of Directors will have 9 members left.
In which, Mr. Pham Hong Hai is the General Director.
Mr. Pham Hong Hai officially holds the position of General Director of OCB from July 16, 2024.
Mr. Hai graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics in 1995, and has nearly 30 years of experience in the field of finance and banking in Vietnam.
Recently, OCB also informed that it has received the resignation letter from Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung as a member of the Board of Directors according to his personal wishes.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung has a bachelor's degree from Hanoi University of Commerce. He has over 30 years of experience working in the banking and finance industry in Vietnam and abroad.
Mr. Tung joined OCB in April 2012 and officially assumed the position of General Director in August 2012.
In April 2023, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung was re-elected as a member of the bank's Board of Directors. In May 2024, OCB's Board of Directors accepted Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung's resignation from the position of General Director.
Regarding business performance, at the end of the first 6 months of 2024, OCB recorded a profit of VND 2,113 billion. As of June 30, 2024, the total assets of the bank were approximately VND 238,884 billion at the beginning of the year. The bad debt ratio was at 2.3%, lower than the control level of 3% of the State Bank.
