The two sides also agreed to continue to consider agriculture, including aquaculture, as a key area of cooperation to contribute to ensuring the world's food supply chain and security.

The Mozambican side proposed a number of new areas of cooperation, including asking Vietnam to use its experience to cooperate and invest in developing infrastructure and transportation in Mozambique. The Vice President suggested that the two sides strengthen cooperation in minerals. The Mozambican side agreed and committed to promoting the early signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on coal trade with Vietnam.

The Mozambican side proposed increasing the number of scholarships, enhancing cultural exchanges, promoting cooperation in combating transnational crimes and protecting wildlife. The Vice President acknowledged and suggested that the two sides effectively implement the signed agreements in the above-mentioned areas, and said that the Vietnamese side will actively consider increasing scholarships for Mozambican students to study in Vietnam.
