The Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Dang Khanh Toan to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On the afternoon of November 13, Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work. Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung chaired the conference.
At the conference, the leaders of the Central Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 1668-QDNS/TW dated November 8, 2024 of the Politburo on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Dang Khanh Toan to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung said that to ensure the continuous leadership and direction of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint comrade Dang Khanh Toan, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, to hold the position of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.
Comrade Dang Khanh Toan is a well-trained cadre who has held many important positions, directly assisting key Central leaders; and was trusted by the Politburo to be assigned tasks.
Comrade Le Minh Hung hopes that the new Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee will promote the local tradition of being dynamic and creative; continue to lead and direct Nam Dinh to develop rapidly and sustainably; worthy of the expectations of the Central Committee. He requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Executive Committee of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee to pay attention and help Comrade Dang Khanh Toan to successfully complete the assigned tasks; first of all, successfully organize the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; bring Nam Dinh to rise stronger in the new era - the era of national development.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Nam Dinh Provincial Party Secretary Dang Khanh Toan affirmed that in order to complete the assigned tasks, he himself must continue to make efforts, strive, wholeheartedly, impartially, uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, promote the knowledge, lessons and experiences from previous work; be modest, open-minded, wholeheartedly serve the Party and the people, together with the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee and the entire political system, unite, agree, properly implement the Party's regulations and rules, promote collective intelligence to focus on leading and directing the successful resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; successfully organize the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress; well perform the task of building the political system and rectifying the Party; Continue to resolutely, synchronously and effectively implement socio-economic development solutions, especially key local and central projects in the province.
The Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee believes that with the solidarity and unity of the entire provincial Party Committee, the support and participation of all classes of people, Nam Dinh will certainly continue to promote its achievements and results, overcome difficulties and challenges, develop rapidly and sustainably, and contribute appropriately to the country in the new era, the era of national growth.
Immediately after the announcement ceremony of the Politburo's decision on personnel work, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung chaired a working session with the Standing Committee of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee on the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; the implementation of tasks in 2024 and a number of key tasks in the coming time.
According to Standing Deputy Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Chinh, in 2024, Nam Dinh province's socio-economic growth will maintain a good level, with 14/14 main socio-economic development targets reaching and exceeding the set plan.
Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 10.35%, the highest ever and higher than the national average; total budget revenue is estimated at 14,000 billion VND, an increase of 34% compared to 2023... The work of building new, advanced and exemplary rural areas continues to receive attention and achieves positive results, exceeding the set plan; key projects, especially regional connectivity infrastructure projects, are all completed and exceed the set plan; the fields of culture-society, health, education, science-technology achieve many good results; national defense and security continue to be maintained, social order and safety are ensured./.
