As planned, the 32nd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place over 4 days, from the afternoon of April 15 to the morning of April 22, 2024, at the National Assembly House. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will attend, deliver the opening speech, and together with the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly will take turns chairing the content of the session.
On Monday afternoon (April 15), after National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue delivered the opening speech of the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the draft Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2025 and adjust the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2024 (including considering the proposal to develop a draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils).
Next is to review the National Assembly's report on people's petitions in March 2024.
Comments on Submission No. 01 dated March 1, 2024 of the President on signing a loan agreement between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the Priority Infrastructure and Urban Development Project adapting to climate change in Vinh city, Nghe An province.
Comments on the Government's Submission No. 04 dated February 19, 2024 on the plan to handle the source of funds to implement the International Arbitration Award on the Petroleum Contract Case Lo 01&02 will also be put on the agenda.
Along with that, consider the Submission on the proposal to adjust the investment policy of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2023.
Reviewing Government report No. 71 on a number of contents proposed to be amended and supplemented in Decree No. 08 dated January 23, 2019 stipulating a number of regimes for members of Vietnamese agencies abroad.
Comments on Document No. 112 dated March 28, 2024 of the Government on the Pre-Feasibility Study Report of the Investment Project to build the North-South Expressway, Western section, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc).

The National Assembly Standing Committee also commented on the report on the implementation results of the 2023 Supervision Program and the first months of 2024, and the planned 2025 Supervision Program of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Review the summary report on the results of monitoring legal documents in the areas under the responsibility of the Nationalities Council and the National Assembly Committees in 2023.
Provide initial comments on the draft Report on the results of thematic supervision "Implementation of policies and laws on ensuring traffic order and safety from 2009 to the end of 2023".
Results of the National Assembly's Supervisory Delegation's supervision of "Implementation of Resolution No. 43 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and resolutions of the National Assembly on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023".
During this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the following draft laws: Draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy; Draft Law on Cultural Heritage (amended); Draft Law on Juvenile Justice; Draft Law on Value Added Tax (amended); Draft Law on Urban and Rural Planning.
At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also give opinions on the preparation for the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly; and on the reorganization of the Information Technology Center into the Department of Information Technology and Audit Data under the State Audit .
