Therefore, I only asked them to pay the lawyer's fees, not to pay the company any copyright fees. As for Duong Edward, I had good intentions when I let this singer use Dan Truong's songs for 3 years, only taking a mere 2 million VND in royalties for each song every year. However, up to now, Duong Edward's side has not apologized for violating the song Mong Uyen Uong Ho Diep" - Mr. Hoang Tuan shared.

Regarding the reason that singer Duong Edward's representative gave for not seeing information about the owner of the derivative work Mong Uyen Uong Ho Diep (foreign music, Vietnamese lyrics: Minh Thuan) when performing   Love Song Series 2021,   Mr. Hoang Tuan said: "I don't care if they sing this song with different Vietnamese lyrics, they can write it themselves or use it somewhere. But currently, the song Duong Edward is using has lyrics that we own, so Duong Edward cannot say that they are free to use this song."

According to Mr. Hoang Tuan, Duong Edward's side showed signs of fraud: "They posted the copyrighted video by changing the name to circumvent YouTube's laws. Currently, I have sued YouTube to confirm the copyright of the Vietnamese lyrics of the song."

Dan Viet reporter also contacted Duong Edward's representative. This person said that the male singer is currently working with a lawyer, then will make an official announcement to the press in the next 1-2 days. Previously, Duong Edward's team said that they had discussed with the company holding the copyright of the original work in China and received information that no unit exclusively owns this song in Vietnam.

Duong Edward's real name is Nguyen Tung Duong, born in 1992. He studied music and performed at HammerSmith College, London, England. The male singer became famous for covering many international and domestic songs such as I'm Yours, Price Tag, Rain on Love, Unrequited Love. ... In 2021, he attracted attention with the project Khuc hoa tinh including 15 cover songs.
