Delegates attending the discussion at Thai Binh bridge.
At the seminar, specialized agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, along with speakers and delegates, updated and shared a lot of information, knowledge and experience in promoting the role of the community and community organizations (agricultural cooperatives, farmers' clubs, business associations, etc.) in agricultural and rural development.
The seminar also spent a lot of time discussing and proposing new methods and approaches in the current period to promote the role of the community in implementing the Strategy for sustainable agricultural and rural development for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 according to Decision No. 150/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2022 of the Prime Minister.
Many delegates suggested that in the future, the relevant agencies should continue to focus on promoting information, propaganda, and promoting community-based agricultural and rural development. There should be mechanisms, support policies, and solutions to help community organizations replicate effective models and projects in agricultural and rural development. Support communities and community organizations in innovation, access to capital, new science and technology, product promotion, etc. to develop sustainable livelihoods associated with preserving cultural identity, protecting natural resources and the environment, etc.
