Promoting the strength of national solidarity, building a rich, beautiful and civilized Hai Duong

Affirm roles and responsibilities

Over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Hai Duong has continued to affirm its role and responsibility before the Party and the people. All activities of the Front system closely follow political tasks, aiming for the common development of the province.

In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic broke out and spread in Hai Duong, causing many negative impacts on all aspects of social life. Promoting its role as the center of the great national unity bloc, together with the entire political system, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province actively propagated and mobilized all classes of people to join hands and unite to fight the epidemic. Everywhere in the province, there was a movement to support the Covid-19 Epidemic Prevention Fund, support people in locked-down and medically isolated areas... The Fatherland Front at all levels called on agencies, businesses and individuals to donate over 316 billion VND to support the work of preventing and purchasing vaccines against the epidemic along with many medical equipment, supplies, goods, necessities... Thereby, contributing to the whole province to repel the pandemic, recover and develop the economy quickly and sustainably...

Along with that, promoting the role and responsibility, the Fatherland Front at all levels proactively advises the Party Committee, closely coordinates with the government and member organizations to effectively implement patriotic emulation campaigns and movements towards innovation in content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots. Over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has mobilized 65.1 billion VND to build the "For the Poor" Fund, support the construction of "great solidarity" houses for nearly 1,000 poor households, support production development, medical examination and treatment for nearly 15,000 disadvantaged households, and give over 130,000 gifts...

Over the past 5 years, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has mobilized many resources to participate in ensuring social security.

Many shining examples of Front workers, union cadres, and advanced models have appeared in many residential areas, joining hands and contributing to the community, sharing difficulties with the poor and disadvantaged in society. All have contributed to making the great national unity bloc more and more sustainable.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations in the province have many forms of propaganda, mobilization, encouragement, and support for people of all walks of life to actively participate in the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". In 2020, Hai Duong was recognized by the Prime Minister for completing the task of building new rural areas.

The role and function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people continue to be promoted by the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province through organizing meetings with voters, monitoring and social criticism activities, receiving and handling complaints and denunciations from citizens. Over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Hai Duong has chaired nearly 2,500 direct monitoring sessions. The People's Inspection Committees and Community Investment Supervision Committees have detected and recommended 5,717 cases, which were reviewed and resolved by the government and competent agencies, recovering 1,234 m² of land and over 166 million VND for the State; supervised 1,265 projects, which were reviewed and resolved by competent agencies and notified of the results of the handling.

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province actively participated, together with the Provincial Election Committee, in organizing the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term democratically, publicly, and in accordance with the law, mobilizing 99.67% of voters to vote...

Try harder

The 17th Congress of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term takes place in the context of Hai Duong continuing to move forward on the path of integration and development. There are many opportunities but also many challenges for the province, especially in the context of complicated and unpredictable developments in the world and the region.

To contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress, the 18th Provincial Party Congress, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province needs to be more active and make more efforts in firmly building the great national unity bloc. Strengthen propaganda and mobilize union members, association members and people of all walks of life to thoroughly grasp and well implement the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, especially continuing to implement the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (12th tenure) on strengthening Party building and rectification, associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, contributing to consolidating trust and making the close relationship between the Party and the people increasingly stronger.

The Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations in Hai Duong have implemented many practical activities, making important contributions to helping Hai Duong soon be recognized by the Prime Minister for completing the task of building new rural areas in 2020. Expand the scope of social supervision and criticism activities, promptly detect errors, shortcomings, weaknesses and make recommendations to the province to amend and supplement appropriate policies. Pay more attention to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people. Guide the people to promote their mastery, proactively and actively participate in Party and government building, prevent corruption, waste, negativity...

Continue to maintain and improve the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in a practical and in-depth manner. Encourage all classes of people to compete in creative labor, develop production and business, and enthusiastically participate in building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas. Promote the effectiveness of the community self-management model. Effectively carry out social security activities.

Focus on building the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations to be truly strong in terms of politics, ideology and organization, ensuring representativeness, typicality and practicality. Pay attention to consolidating and improving the quality of activities of member organizations, and staff with sufficient capacity and qualifications, ensuring dynamism, creativity and efficiency, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Believing that, with its glorious tradition, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will continue to arouse the potential, creativity, capacity and intelligence of all classes of people, promote the strength of the great solidarity bloc, and contribute to building Hai Duong homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
