The Coast Guard Region 4 Command has just announced that it has just arrested two ships illegally transporting nearly 200,000 liters of D0 oil at sea.

Specifically, at 0:11 a.m. on February 19, while performing a mission in the Southwest sea, the functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command discovered that the ship KG 91487 TS had many suspicious signs, so they inspected it.

At this time, there were 4 crew members on board, led by Mr. Phung Van Linh (born in 1976, residing in An Thoi ward, Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province).

According to the captain's initial statement, the ship was transporting about 145,000 liters of DO oil without invoices or documents proving its legal origin.

At 2:50 a.m. the same day, the authorities of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command continued to inspect the ship KG 91602 TS. There were 4 crew members on board, led by captain Tran Van Thien (born in 1993, residing in Duc Tuong commune, Chau Thanh district, Kien Giang province). Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the ship was transporting more than 25,000 liters of DO oil without invoices or documents proving its legal origin.

The patrol team of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command drew up a record, sealed the violating goods, then escorted the vehicles to the port of Squadron 422 in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province for further investigation and handling.
