(NLDO) - The Command of Coast Guard Region 2 presented 60 gifts to ethnic minority Protestant families on the occasion of Christmas.
On December 17, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 coordinated with the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to visit and present gifts to ethnic minority Protestants in Tra Duong commune, Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam province.
Attending the program were Colonel Le Huy Sinh, Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2; Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee and representatives of local Party committees and authorities.
At the program, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 presented 60 gifts to ethnic minority Protestant households in Tra Duong commune with difficult circumstances, on the occasion of Christmas 2024, each gift worth 1 million VND.
This is an activity in the program "Coast Guard with ethnic and religious people" that the Coast Guard Region 2 Command and the Quang Nam Provincial Mass Mobilization Committee jointly implemented.
Colonel Le Huy Sinh, Chief of Coast Guard Region 2, wished everyone a peaceful and happy Christmas, "living a good life, good religion", "respecting God, loving the country", "accompanying the nation"; strictly following the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws, and local regulations to work with local Party committees and authorities to build the homeland, contributing to maintaining economic and social stability, ensuring national defense and security in the area.
