Launching the contest on the patriotic history of the Vietnamese people in 2023

This year, the contest is organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training, and implemented by the Education and Times Newspaper.

The contest is an activity in the Prime Minister's project to support information and propaganda on ethnicity and religion to promote information and propaganda on national history, patriotism, traditions of building and defending the country, national solidarity, etc., typical examples in carrying out the task of building and defending the country in the current period for teachers, students and pupils.

Proactively and widely disseminate information on Vietnamese moral values and human personality to students; typical faces of ethnic minority students and teachers, advanced models in environmental protection, and preservation of national cultural identity.

Disseminate and raise awareness among students of legal knowledge and positive values of beliefs and religions in social life.

Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, Head of the contest's organizing committee, expressed his hope that the contest will contribute to providing more useful knowledge about history and national culture, fostering love for the homeland, country, and national pride in every Vietnamese citizen.

The contestants are education managers, teachers, and staff who are working in the education sector; students who are studying at educational institutions nationwide; parents of students, and those interested in the contest.

The content of the article also focuses on promoting the history, patriotic traditions, ethics and lifestyle of young people in the socialist era, the beauty of lifestyle and training the will according to the predecessors on the rules of conduct, elegant and good ways of thinking... Typical faces of students, teachers of ethnic minorities, religions, advanced models in environmental protection, preserving national cultural identity.

The structure and value of this year's competition prizes include: Collective prizes, 2 prizes will be awarded to groups with many good quality entries (Certificate issued by the organizing committee and 5,000,000 VND in prize money).

Individual winners receive a competition award certificate issued by the organizing committee and the prize value is as follows:

- 1 First Prize: 15,000,000 VND;

- 2 Second prizes: 10,000,000 VND/prize;

- 3 Third prizes: 8,000,000 VND/prize;

- Consolation Prize: 5,000,000 VND/prize;

- Secondary prize (2 prizes for individuals): 3,000,000 VND/prize.

The contest does not limit the number of entries per author.

Deadline for receiving entries: from the contest launch date until October 15, 2023.
