More than 10,000 people participated in the Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector

According to the Organizing Committee, at the end of the 3rd phase, as of November 30, after 3 months of implementation, more than 10,000 people responded to the Contest to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector.

According to statistics from the Organizing Committee, the 3rd Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector (November) continues to have the participation of many units in the entire Industry and Trade sector.

At the end of the third round of the online contest, as of November 30, nearly 2,500 members both inside and outside the industry and trade sector had participated. According to statistics from the Organizing Committee, after 3 months of implementation, the contest has received the participation of more than 10,000 people. This is one of the initial successes and effectiveness of the contest in spreading the good traditional values ​​of the industry and trade sector.

Previously, in order for the contest to receive the response and active participation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies and units under the Industry and Trade sector, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade launched a movement to agencies and units under the sector to respond and participate in the contest.

Promoting the pioneering spirit of the contest, the Organizing Committee has recognized the active and leading participation of many large corporations such as: Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Vietnam Electricity Group... with a series of member units responding to participate in the contest.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also recorded very active participation from universities and colleges... across the provinces and cities. In particular, leading the school block in 3 rounds of competition, the University of Economics and Industrial Technology is still the pioneer participating unit.

As one of the corporations with member units actively participating, Mr. Khuat Manh Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group said, implementing the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on responding to the Competition to learn about the tradition of the Industry and Trade sector, with an enthusiastic and responsible spirit, the group's leaders have requested that cadres, party members, and employees of the group's units implement, actively respond, and participate.

"Accordingly, the group has propagated, disseminated and guided the unit's cadres, party members and employees to actively respond to and participate in the Contest according to Plan No. 23-KH/BCSĐ, dated August 13, 2024 and the Regulations of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on organizing the Contest to learn about the traditions of the Industry and Trade sector ", Mr. Khuat Manh Thang emphasized.

According to Mr. Thang, in order to honor traditional values, promote the position and stature of the Industry and Trade sector in the process of construction and development, the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group requires creating favorable conditions in terms of time and funding for cadres, party members and workers to participate in the contest to achieve the highest efficiency.

In addition, the orientation of content and form, through the contest, aims to honor and create a strong spread of the traditional values ​​of "Discipline and Unity" of the team of workers and officers of the Vietnam Coal - Minerals industry in the process of construction and development, contributing to building an increasingly strong Industry and Trade sector.

Previously, on August 13, 2024, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Plan No. 23-KH/BCSĐ on organizing the Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector. This is one of the most important activities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade towards the 75th anniversary of the Industry and Trade Sector Tradition Day (May 14, 1951 - May 14, 2026).

On August 14, 2024, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a launching ceremony for the Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector. The competition aims to honor traditional values, promote the position and stature of the Industry and Trade sector in the process of formation, construction and development since its inception; contribute to educating traditions, arousing the pride of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Industry and Trade sector.

At the same time, the contest also helps raise public awareness of the role and importance of the Industry and Trade sector in the country's socio-economic development; raise awareness of the whole society about the activities of the Industry and Trade sector, thereby gaining social consensus and people's attention for the development of the Industry and Trade sector; encourage creativity and participation of all classes of people in learning and contributing to the development of the Industry and Trade sector.

The contest will be launched from August 15, 2024 to February 3, 2025 in 2 forms: Online contest (including 5 rounds, 1 round per month) and through works.
