With the results and experience gained over the past 10 years, Online Friday 2023 will implement many practical support activities for businesses, aiming to build consumer trust through real promotional programs, serious companion programs of brands, businesses, large e-commerce platforms and sales support platforms such as TikTokShop, Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, VNPAY, ZaloPay, Viettel Post, VnPost, AccessTrade...

During the National E-commerce Week, businesses and consumers can participate in activities such as: Vietnam E-commerce Development Conference; 60-hour online shopping event on online platforms in Vietnam; E-commerce and music experience festival at Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street, Hanoi; Propaganda, dissemination and experience activities for consumers, businesses and management agencies through the Digital Ecosystem to enhance consumer protection in e-commerce...

The program "60 hours of Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2023" is organized on the website and application systems of the Program, providing nationwide shopping codes and promotional programs for goods/services of large enterprises operating in the field of production and distribution through e-commerce. Enterprises participating in the program will commit to jointly build a Digital Ecosystem, strengthening the protection of consumer rights in e-commerce.

Previously, in 60 hours, Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2022 was participated by hundreds of thousands of consumers and businesses in provinces and cities, with a total of 250 million views, 9 times higher than the previous year. This positive result has affirmed the interest of society, businesses and press agencies in the Program over the past time.

This year, with the goal of reaching about 1 billion views on the program's platforms, 500 brands and 3,000 businesses participating in 60 hours of Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2023, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) will preside over and coordinate with partners such as e-commerce platforms to deploy many solutions to promote e-commerce development along with protecting consumer rights in the online environment.

Enterprises and management agencies will share policies of the digital ecosystem to protect consumer rights in the online environment; The role of delivery in e-commerce to build customer trust, build the image of a reputable Vietnamese e-commerce market; Cashless payment and its role in the digital ecosystem to protect consumer rights in e-commerce; Secure payment model: a reliable application for consumers, businesses and management agencies; Protecting consumer rights in online transactions on e-commerce platforms: Advantages, difficulties and solutions...

Immediately after that, management agencies and e-commerce platforms, payment intermediaries, banks, etc. will join hands to implement the commitment to participate in and apply consumer rights protection in e-commerce activities.

The Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) hopes that this series of events will create a healthy "common playground" for both buyers and sellers in the digital environment, strongly promoting the breakthrough development of the e-commerce sector, as well as the digital economy in Vietnam.
