Nurturing the joy of learning and sharing at the happy school TH School

More than 1,600 guests, teachers, and students inside and outside TH School had a full day of fun when participating in the Happiness Festival - TH School Happiness Day 2024 with the theme "Where happiness blooms". TH School Happiness Day 2024 - Happiness is sharing With the philosophy of building a happy school, a place to nurture joy and excitement in learning, on March 16, TH School organized the Happiness Festival - TH School Happiness Day 2024 at Hoa Lac campus to bring students moments filled with joy with family and friends and at the same time spread that to the community through sharing actions.

More than 1,600 guests, teachers, students, and parents from all over attended the Happiness Festival.

The festival is designed for participants to experience the 5 elements of the Happiness model (SPIRE) including S - Spirit, P - Body, I - Mind, R - Relationship and E - Emotion, through the most vibrant, unique and attractive multi-national cultural activities of the year of the TH School community, and discover Happiness in their own way. The 5km Fun Run at the Festival attracted more than 300 athletes of all ages. Students, parents and guests participating in the Festival also experienced the new art of "watermark painting", face painting, painting, music workshops, yoga classes, frisbee throwing, Korean folk games, exploring cuisines from around the world...

Every booth and activity has a happy meaning.

Present at the festival early in the morning and participating in the Fun Run, Mr. Jaime Francisco Rodriguez, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic shared: “ In my opinion, happiness is the guiding principle and also the first and most important factor in life. I am very happy to be a part of the Happiness Festival at the multinational TH School and participate in the run to support the sports movement of students”.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hang, a parent of a first grader at TH School, Chua Boc campus, said that it had been a long time since she had participated in such a vibrant, bustling and meaningful event. After experiencing the activities with her son, Ms. Hang excitedly shared: “ My son and I both really enjoyed today's festival. My son was so engrossed in the physical activities that he didn't want to go home. It's been a long time since I felt the joy of bonding between mother and son. The activities organized by the school today were very fun, useful and meaningful .” According to Ms. Hang, her and her son's happiness was not limited to just one day of the festival but started when her son entered TH School. “He lives and develops every day in an ideal environment to acquire knowledge, practice skills and develop his own abilities. Every day, my son grows up, becomes more agile, active, and his gestures and speech become more mature. When he comes home from school, he often tells stories about school. My child is very happy to study at school. Every time I say, “If you don’t listen to me, I will transfer you to another school,” he immediately says, “Mom, I don’t want to transfer schools,” and listens right away,” said Ms. Hang. Abel, a 9th grader at TH School Chua Boc, a volunteer at the booths, happily shared his thoughts: “ This is truly a big event for the school. I see a lot of people participating and everyone has smiles on their faces. I hope events like this will be held more often so that our students can have more meaningful experiences during their time studying at school .” Not only are TH School students excited, the Happiness Festival also receives attention from teachers, students and parents from neighboring schools. Dang Thao Nguyen, a 4th grader at Lien Quan Primary School, Thach That District, Hanoi, was surprised when she first entered the pink school: “ I have never seen such a beautiful school!” TH School is like a park, like a fairy tale, and very modern with many playgrounds and friendly people. Today, I drew watercolors, played games, learned magic tricks and enjoyed a lot of delicious food at the school. I told my parents to pay attention to the calendar so as not to miss any events of TH School Hoa Lac.

Sharing the same sentiment, Hoang Thi Hong Nhung and Nguyen Ngoc Van Thuong, 6th grade students at Tan Xa Secondary School, Thach That District, Hanoi, shared their feelings after the experience: “ We came to this festival to have fun and interact with friends from TH School. They are really lovely and friendly. Just now, a friend invited us to join the School Tour around the school and introduced us to many great areas such as the music room, the laboratory, the common relaxation room... The food at TH School is so delicious and the school is so spacious and beautiful. Our joy is beyond our expectations.” Spreading love to extend happiness The Happiness Festival - TH School Happiness Day 2024 with the theme "Where happiness blooms", was held for the first time at TH School as part of the Happiness Month event at TH Group. According to Ms. Tran Thi Quyen, Human Resources Director of TH Group, member of the Board of Directors of TH School, Happiness Day is one of a series of activities in March of TH Group to celebrate World Happiness Day on March 20.

Ms. Quyen proudly shared that TH is the only enterprise in Vietnam that organizes this day every year and aims at the true happiness of people with 5 aspects according to the SPIRE happiness model. “It is the spiritual happiness when everyone participates in the festival in a joyful atmosphere, prepares common booths together, and contributes their efforts to raise charity funds. The happiness becomes more sparkling when running together on a dreamy road, playing physical games such as bamboo dancing, soccer... to exercise. The happiness when interacting and learning with people around, playing intellectual games, learning about multinational cultures. The happiness when each person can be themselves, freely choose to participate in activities that they love,” Ms. Quyen said.

Sharing about her students, Ms. Jane Frances Ball, Principal of TH School Hoa Lac, said: “ To prepare for today's Happiness Festival, the teachers and I asked the students for their opinions on their wishes for a happy day. Because when I come to TH School and witness the happiness of the students and colleagues, I always feel like I am spreading joy and motivation every day. So when I know that some students feel happy when playing games, some feel happy when showing their ability to organize and manage a food stall or handicrafts... We have encouraged them to bring that happiness to become a lively and attractive part of the Festival.”

In addition, the TH School Student Council has raised funds for the project "Growing up with you" initiated by the For Vietnamese Stature Fund. Accordingly, TH School students have contributed through running in many large and small competitions, through fundraising cake sales, through revenue from the Startup Festival... to contribute 7,200 free boarding meals to disadvantaged students in Cao Bang in the 2023-2024 school year alone. This charitable fundraising activity was continued at the Happiness Festival as a way to share the joy and happiness of the TH School community with the community to spread love and extend happiness.
