Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet (Nam Yen village, Hoa Bac commune) shared: "The water rose early in the morning, sometimes reaching close to the house. Now it is receding slowly, so we are taking advantage of the time to clean up the mud while the water is still there."
Flooding makes it difficult for people to move around.
Mr. Thai Duy Tuan, Nam Yen village, Hoa Bac commune said: "The river water rose high, the flood from upstream came very quickly so the roads were completely cut off. The water receded a little and then rose again, at times the water entered the yard of the house."
Forces strung up ropes and erected barricades to warn people in flooded villages.
According to the reporter's records until early afternoon of the same day, water in these areas is receding slowly.
