The Deputy Prime Minister requested the locality and functional units of Thanh Hoa province to arrange as soon as possible, prioritizing capital to reinvest in Lam Phu Secondary School to ensure a place for teachers and students in this mountainous commune to teach and learn.

Inspecting the No Thon sluice gate on the left dike of the Ma River (in Vinh An Commune, Vinh Loc District) which was leaking due to rising flood waters in recent days, the Deputy Prime Minister said that Thanh Hoa province needs to learn from experience and be more proactive in natural disaster prevention to avoid similar incidents. At the same time, if the handling of dike incidents is beyond the province's authority, it should be reported to the Central Government for early remedial measures.
