Specifically, there will be 3 projects in the Free Trade Zone, including technical infrastructure investment projects for production zones, logistics zones and other functional zones. The remaining 30 projects will be invested outside the Free Trade Zone, such as technical infrastructure projects for logistics zones and dry ports in Hoa Vang district, new urban area No. 1 (Hoa Lien commune), new urban area No. 2 (Hoa Ninh commune, both in Hoa Vang district).

The People's Committee of Da Nang City said that it has assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to promptly complete the project to establish a Free Trade Zone in December 2024 to submit to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for appraisal and submit to the Prime Minister for approval.
