Ms. Linh believes that young people are "new recruits" who can quickly adapt to new technology, are dynamic people who always cherish new and innovative ideas; and are also "talented pioneers" who directly participate in the construction and development of urban areas, and the development of Hue City in the future.
"We have the opportunity and responsibility to shape the future where we want to live, develop and stay long-term. I am very proud to see the young people here, you have been proactive and creative. It is your enthusiasm, daring to think and dare to do that has given us the strength to continue to strive even harder in the future, striving for a noble ideal of the "Hue dream", Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Khanh Linh said.
After listening to experts share practical experiences on topics related to smart cities and training in communication and digital skills, many young people boldly presented their ideas with many creative applications.
The workshop helps young people gain more experience in communications, digital technology... to contribute to the development of smart cities.
Tran Bao Linh (3rd year student, International Faculty, Hue University) said that in the future, this female student hopes to use social networking sites to contribute to spreading the image of her homeland.
"I will continue to spread beautiful images and smart urban areas in Hue, such as the public bicycle rental model using QR codes, to friends and tourists. At the same time, I hope that in the future, Thua Thien-Hue will have more communication contests on the topics of culture and people, through which young people have the opportunity to be creative, contribute to spreading and love their homeland more," Linh said.
As for Vuong Thi Dieu Linh, a student majoring in multimedia communications, in order for smart urban models to be widely deployed, the first thing to do is to change the mindset and awareness of each person, including the younger generation.
"Each young person is a small brick to build a more civilized and modern city. I hope that in the future, myself and the young people present here today will have creative ways of doing communication," Linh said.
