On October 11, the leader of Dak Lak Urban and Environment Joint Stock Company (Environmental Company) confirmed that the unit had received information about an employee being assaulted while cutting and trimming trees on the street.

"The trees are under state management and are assigned to our unit to take care of, manage, and trim... However, we do not understand why the woman prevented the trees from being trimmed and even assaulted the company's employees," said the leader of the environmental company.
The incident happened on October 10 and was recorded by a security camera of a resident on the street.
Accordingly, Ms. PVNH (35 years old, sales staff of the Environmental Company) was assigned to inspect and accept the work volume of cutting, pruning, and lifting the canopy of trees by workers on Ly Thai To Street (Tan An Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City).
The incident happened in front of house number 52 Ly Thai To. Ms. H. and a group of workers were prevented from trimming a tree by a woman (over 50 years old). This woman claimed that the tree belonged to her family.

Ms. H. said that when she talked to the woman, she explained that the trees on the sidewalk were under the management of the state and that the workers were doing their assigned tasks. However, the woman continued to curse Ms. H. and the workers.
The image of the shoving shows the woman in the orange shirt pushing Ms. H. out onto the street and slapping the female environmental worker in the face in the middle of the street.
"I was pushed so hard by this person that I almost fell into a car on the road. Before I could recover, this person slapped me in the face. Seeing that the woman was old, I did not argue back but proactively called the police and authorities to coordinate the handling of the matter," said Ms. H.
According to Ms. H., after assaulting her, the woman also climbed onto a specialized tree trimming vehicle, preventing the workers from doing their work.
Ms. H. has filed a complaint against all of the above woman's actions to the police for handling according to the law.
