In recent days, social networks have been spreading information that the play Cau Dong - a work associated with the brand of Idecaf theater - had its last performance on April 29.
Before the news that the play "Cau Dong" ended, many people thought that Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc - the "soul" of the Idecaf theater stage - would also leave.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter on the morning of May 3, Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc confirmed the information of leaving Idecaf theater after 26 years of attachment. However, the male artist did not reveal the specific reason.

Previously, Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc revealed to the public that he had no longer held the position of Deputy Director in charge of art at the theater for the past year.
In a post on his personal page on April 17, Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc shared: "I have officially resigned from the role of Deputy Director in charge of art for Thai Duong Company (Idecaf) for a year now. Right after the funeral of VM (director Vu Minh - PV), I completed the play Alo! Lo hang to ensure the audience watched and also to dedicate the soul of VM. After Alo! Lo hang was performed, I left the Board of Directors of Thai Duong Company, only collaborating in the capacity and position of an actor or director."

Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc has been working at Idecaf Drama Theater since 1997. In April 2000, he and producer Huynh Anh Tuan together founded Thai Duong Theater and Arts Company Limited (Idecaf). At that time, Idecaf was the only company in Vietnam specializing in staging plays specifically for children.
